Alton Melvar Dapanas is the associate editor of Mindanao Odysseys: A Collection of Travel Essays, general editor of Bukambibig, a multilingual journal of spoken word and performance poetry, co-editor of Libulan: Binisaya Anthology of Queer Literature, and editor for essay & nonfiction of Bulawan Literary Journal of Northern Mindanao. He is the author of two forthcoming books—The Cartographies of Our Skin: Lyric Essays (2018) and An Archipelago of Napes and Other Prose Poems (2019).
Daphne Anne P Martinez is a fiction fellow at the 2017 Cagayan de Oro Young Writers Studio organized by the Nagkahiusang Magsusulat sa Cagayan de Oro (NAGMAC). An all-around creative, she is a member of women/queer artists group Arkadia Collective.
G. Mae Aquino (Genevieve Mae Aquino) is scientist by profession, with a clutch of diplomas in molecular biology and genetics. She was a fellow for poetry in English at the Iligan National Writers Workshop, the Ateneo National Writers Workshop, and the IYAS National Writers Workshop. Her works previously appeared in local publications such as The Philippines Graphic and Bukambibig, a journal of spoken word poetry. Her lifetime dream is to produce a body of work that combines her two great loves: science and poetry. She was born in Quezon City, raised in Davao City, and currently works as a university researcher.

Jennie Arado, born and raised in Koronadal City, is a Creative Writing graduate of the University of the Philippines-Mindanao. She was a fellow of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) National Workshop in 2016. She now works as a journalist in Davao City.
Johanna Michelle Lim is an essayist and travel writer based in Cebu City. After university, she became involved in advocacies like poverty alleviation and education, during which she started her long excursions around the Philippines and Southeast Asia. She has been a fellow at the 54th Silliman University National Writers’ Workshop and has a forthcoming work at Mindanao Odysseys: A Collection of Travel Essays on Mindanao. She will launch her first collection of travel essays this February 2018 called What Distance Tells Us.
Mariel Alonzo is currently an undergraduate student of Psychology in the Ateneo de Davao University, and a co-founder of the Ateneo Libulan Circle (LGBT+). She was a poetry fellow for the 15th Ateneo National Writers Workshop.

R Joseph Dazo writes short stories and flash fiction in Binisaya. He is a fellow for fiction at the 16th Iyas National Writers’ Workshop (De La Salle University-Bienvenido N Santos Creative Writing Center), an officer of writers group Bathalan-ong Halad sa Dagang-Sugbo, and workshop coordinator of the annual BATHALAD-Sugbo’s Kagis Creative Writers Workshop.
Sigrid Gayangos hails from Zamboanga City. Her stories often feature the seafaring people of Mindanao. She was a fellow for fiction during the 2nd Amelia Lapeña Bonifacio Writers Workshop by the UP Institute of Creative Writing. When not busy with her writing, she spends her time coaching a bunch of mathletes.
